Departments Establish Industrial Advisory Committee
According to the Faculty Council decision, each department in the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) at Tishk International University will establish an Industrial Advisory Committee. These committees will comprise experts from various industries/organizations and will meet twice a year to provide valuable feedback on how departments can improve the quality of education and the opportunities we offer our students.
The primary purpose of these committees is to provide a direct line of communication between departments and the industries that our students will eventually be working in. By having these experts share their knowledge and insights, the departments will make better-informed decisions when designing curriculum and syllabuses and offering internships and scholarships to the students.
“We are thrilled to have such a distinguished group of industry leaders on our advisory committee,” said Dr. Roopal Shirivastava, head of the department. “Their expertise and guidance will be instrumental in helping us improve our operations and better serve the needs of our stakeholders.” The department is confident that the advisory committee will play a crucial role in its success and looks forward to working closely with its members.
