Field Trip to DAS Food Industries
A group of Business & Management Department and Entrepreneurship & Marketing Department students recently embarked on an academic field trip to DAS Food Industries, one of the most important companies in the region. The field trip was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Aras, the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hamdi Serin, the Dean of Students Representatives, Mr. Cemil Top, the Director of the Student Affairs, Mr. Khadim Saeed, the Research Assistant of Business & Management Department.
Mr. Mehmet Akıncı, Mr. Sarmad Rasheed and Mr. Metin Kasapoğlu, the company’s top management, warmly welcomed and informed the students about the company.
During the field trip, the students had the opportunity to visit three different production areas, including flour, bulgur wheat, bran, and the water treatment system of Das Food Industries. The students were able to observe and learn about the production processes firsthand, gaining valuable experience and knowledge in the field.
The field trip was highly fruitful and informative, providing the students with a unique opportunity to learn about the operations of a successful company in their field of study. Overall, the academic field trip was greatly beneficial, thanks to the efforts of DAS Food Industries top management and the dedication of the accompanying the faculty management and the lecturers. The students came away with a greater understanding of the industry and the skills necessary to succeed in their future careers.
