National Workshop: Unlocking the Future – Where Banking Services Meet the Digital Dawn
The Finance and Banking Department, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Tishk International University (TIU) in collaboration with First Iraqi Bank (FIB) successfully hosted a National Workshop titled: Unlocking the Future – Where Banking Services Meet the Digital Dawn, held on December 20th, 2023.
The workshop aimed to explore the intersection of traditional banking and digital advancements, featuring insightful presentations by Mr. Rawand Pshtiwan, the Acting Commercial Manager of FIB, and Ms. Sarab Attar, the Marketing Manager of FIB.
Mr. Rawand Pshtiwan and Ms. Sarab discussed the pivotal role of digital technologies in reshaping the banking landscape. They highlighted FIB’s commitment to innovation and outlined how the bank integrates digital solutions to enhance customer experiences. The workshop included an engaging Q&A session where participants had the opportunity to interact with the presenters, seeking clarification on various aspects of digital banking and marketing strategies.
To add an element of excitement, a question and answer competition was conducted at the end of the workshop, providing participants with the chance to showcase their understanding of the workshop topics. The winners were awarded prizes generously donated by FIB, further fostering a sense of enthusiasm and camaraderie among the attendees. The workshop concluded with heartfelt thanks extended to Mr. Rawand Pshtiwan and Ms. Sarab Attar for their enlightening presentations. The Finance and Banking Department, along with First Iraqi Bank, expressed gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and contributions to a fruitful discussion on the future of banking in the digital age.
After the competiton, Dr. Abubakar Karaye, along with Dr. Hamdi Serin, Dr. Armayau Sani, Dr. Salisu Ibrahim and Dr. Abubakar M Ashir, presented certificates to the organizing committee for their valuable contributions. Conclusively, the workshop was concluded with a vote of thanks and closing remarks by the the moderator of the workshop Mr. Rawezh Khasro.
