Students Scientific Field Trip to the Board of Supreme Audit
On 6th May 2026, the students of the second and third grades from the Banking and Finance and Accounting Departments participated in a scientific field trip to the Board of Supreme Audit with the aim of enhancing their practical understanding of Government Accounting, Auditing and financial supervision processes.
The students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Muhsin Muhammed, The Technical affairs & Training, who introduced the history of the institution and provided general information regarding the nature of their work, the accounting and auditing procedures they follow, and the institutions under their supervision and responsibility. Following the introductory session, a lecture and PowerPoint presentation were delivered by Mr. Wazir Kamal, Head of Board, who explained the meaning of the organization’s logo and discussed the responsibilities, regulations, and professional standards within their work environment.
The workshop also included an interactive question-and-answer session between the students and the presenters, allowing students to actively engage and gain deeper insights into public sector accounting and auditing practices and career opportunities in the field.
The visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice, familiarize students with the real working environment of auditing institutions, and encourage them to develop their professional and academic skills through direct interaction with experts in the field.
