Farewell Ceremony for the Class of 2026
On 4 June 2026 at 3:00 PM, the faculty of FASE organized a farewell ceremony to celebrate and honor the graduating fourth-year students. The event brought together students, faculty members, and department heads in a warm and memorable atmosphere to mark the successful completion of the students’ academic journey.
The ceremony commenced with a welcoming speech by Dr. Fatih Cura, the Dean of the Faculty and the vice president of financial affairs, who congratulated the graduating students on their achievement and reminded them that they would always remain part of the university family as members of its alumni community. He encouraged them to stay connected with the university and continue making valuable contributions to society.
Following his remarks, the heads of the academic departments addressed the graduates. Mr. Fayiq, Head of the Business and Management Department, congratulated the students and delivered an inspiring speech on the important role graduates can play in creating positive change and making meaningful contributions to society. Next, Dr. Abubakar Karaye, Head of the Accounting and Banking & Finance Departments, congratulated the students and spoke about the importance of overcoming challenges and obstacles in life. He emphasized that difficulties help individuals grow and improve, highlighting his message with the quote, “Diamonds are made under pressure.” Finally, Dr. Dana Sajadi, Head of the International Relations and Diplomacy Department, congratulated the graduates and motivated them to remain hardworking, determined, and committed to achieving success in their future careers.
One of the highlights of the event was the cake-cutting ceremony, which was carried out by the top-performing students from each department. Following the ceremony, a coffee break was held, providing an opportunity for students, faculty members, and staff to mingle, share memories, and enjoy quality time together.
The farewell ceremony was a meaningful occasion that celebrated the achievements of the graduating class while strengthening the bond between students, faculty members, and the university community. The event concluded with best wishes for the graduates as they begin the next chapter of their academic and professional lives.
