On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, third-year students from the Banking Department at Tishk International University (TIU) went on an academic field trip to NassWallet Company. The visit, which began at 11:00 AM, aimed to provide students with practical experience and bridge the gap between their theoretical knowledge and the real-world financial technology industry.

Upon their arrival, the students were welcomed by Ms. Renas Adnan, a representative from NassWallet. The visit featured two key presentations by company professionals:

  • Mr. Karzan Rawf, the Sales Department Supervisor, delivered a session on the practical applications of NassWallet’s products and services, including its digital wallet solutions and mobile payment systems. His presentation highlighted the sales department’s crucial role in promoting and expanding digital financial services in the region.
  • Mr. Abdulmomen Muhsin Shakir, the Compliance Manager, provided an in-depth discussion on money laundering detection and prevention. He explained the company’s internal and external audit processes, which are implemented to ensure regulatory compliance and financial transparency. He also emphasized the importance of risk management, monitoring suspicious transactions, and maintaining ethical financial practices.

The trip provided students with a deeper understanding of how fintech companies operate and how various departments, such as sales and compliance, work collaboratively to maintain the integrity of digital financial services. The Banking Department extended its sincere gratitude to NassWallet for hosting the students and providing this valuable, enriching experience.
