Delegation from Catholic University in Erbil Visits IRD to Discuss Academic Collaboration


On November 5th, 2024, a delegation from the Catholic University in Erbil visited the International Relations and Diplomacy Department (IRD), Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) at Tishk International University (TIU). The visiting delegation included Mr. Muhammad Ebrahimi, Head of the International Relations Department, and Mr. Yousif Hamid, a lecturer within the department. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa, Head of the International Relations and Diplomacy Department at Tishk International University.

During the meeting, both departments engaged in a constructive dialogue about potential avenues for collaboration, focusing on developing joint activities for the current academic year. The discussions highlighted shared academic goals and the commitment to fostering cooperative opportunities that benefit students and faculty alike. This collaboration aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17, which emphasises the importance of partnerships in achieving global objectives.
