The International Relations and Diplomacy (IRD) Department at Tishk International University is proud to announce the publication of a groundbreaking research study titled “Investigating Enrollment Decline in Political Science and International Relations Programmes in the Kurdistan Region.” This important work, authored by Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa, Mr. Dana Mohammed Danish Aladdin Sajadi, and Mr. Bayad Sarwar Abdullah, has been published in the Eurasian Journal of Management and Social Sciences (Volume 5, Issue 2) and is accessible via DOI: https://doi.org/10.23918/ejmss.V5i2p19.

The findings provide actionable strategies to reverse the decline and underscore the societal value of these fields.
This publication aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. The results aim to foster awareness and inspire practical solutions to support the development of robust academic and policymaking frameworks.
Congratulations to the authors for their significant contribution to this critical area of study. We are confident that their work will have a lasting impact on academia and society, promoting the importance of Political Science and International Relations in building a better future.
