The International Relations Department of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics of TIU, in collaboration with the Kurdistan Students Union, organized a workshop held on May 31st, 2021. The seminar, under the name of “Understanding Governmental and Political Affairs in KRI”, was conducted by Mr. Zana Mala Khalid, and attended by TIU staff and students.
During the workshop, Mr. Zana Mala Khalid highlighted the role and responsibilities of Parliament in the Kurdistan Region and explained the governmental and political affairs in the Kurdistan region. After the presentation was completed, a Q&A session was held, to allow the participates to further explore and understand how the Parliament works. The seminar presented information and the perspective of this field from a member of parliament of the Kurdistan Region, which was particularly beneficial for students who wish to pursue their careers in related fields.
