IRD Department Head Delivers Opening and Keynote Address at 5th ICABEP, 2023 in Poland

The Head of International Relations and Diplomacy Department, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) at Tishk International University (TIU) Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa delivered the opening and keynote address at the 5th International Conference on Accounting, Business, Economics and Politics, held between September 25th and 26th, 2023 in Szczecin, Poland. The conference is organized annually by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Tishk International University, Salahaddin University, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and Szczecin University, Poland. Dr. Mustafa delivered keynote address on “The Middle East’s Predominant Issue,” during the second day of the conference on September 26th. He also chaired a session on the same day.

Four members of the academic staff of the IRD Department presented papers at the conference, two members of staff, Mr. Dana Sajadi and Mr. Bayad Sarwar Abdullah attended and presented their papers in Poland, while two members of staff, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Arabaci and Asst. Prof. Dr. Basiru presented online. Mr. Sajadi, who also chaired a session made a presentation on “Navigating Chinese Hegemony: Assessing its Impact on International Order, State Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity.” Mr. Abdullah’s paper presentation was on “State Responsibility for Wrongful Acts and its Implications: The Case of the Involvement of Turkey in Northern Syria.” Prof. Dr. Arabaci presented on “The Impacts of China’s Investment on Nigeria’s Development,” while Asst. Prof. Dr. Musa made a presentation on “Political and Economic Implications of the Russia-Ukraine War for Nigeria.”
