On March 20th, 2024, Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa, the Head of International Relations and Diplomacy Department, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Tishk International University, attended the Newroz reception in the Parliament of the United Kingdom, which was organized by Mr. Karwan Jamal Tahir, the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Representative to the United Kingdom, to celebrate Kurdish culture’s significant festival and the beginning of the Kurdish Year and Spring. The event was well attended by MPS and Lords of the UK Parliament, including MP Jack Lopristy, MP Wayne David, MP Feryal Clark, Mary Glindon, Baroness Emma Nicholson, MP Jim Shannon, MP Chris Stephens, Governor of Slemani, among others.
