IRD Department Delegation Visits British Consulate, Erbil
On April 20th , 2023, the International Relations and Diplomacy Department delegation, led by the Head of Department, Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa and Mr. Bayad Sarwar, visited the British Consulate in Erbil. The delegation was warmly received by the Consul General, Ms. Rosy Cave and two political officers, Ms. Hanar Marouf and Mr. Salar Amin.
The visit offered a platform where the IRD delegation and the British Consulate discussed areas of collaboration for mutual benefit. Some of the areas include workshops, seminars, talks, participation in Tishk International University‘s annual spring festivals, field trips and collaboration in teaching practical diplomacy-oriented courses.
Ms. Rosy Cave and the IRD delegation agreed on students’ field trips to the British Consulate, facilitation of TIU’s collaboration with UK universities, conduct of workshops and seminars, readiness to participate in next year’s Spring Festival, and creation of a platform for the British Consulate to advertise British education offers and scholarships for the benefit of students and overall regional educational development.
