On March 18th, 2024, the Head of International Relations and Diplomacy Department, Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa attended the Newroz reception, which was organized by Kurdish Progress and hosted by the Speaker of the United Kingdom’s Parliament, Sir Lindsay Harvey Hoyle. The reception brought together dignitaries from all walks of life, especially from the Kurdish Community/Diaspora and important personalities from across the political spectrum in the United Kingdom. Newroz is an important event in the Kurdish culture, which marks the beginning of the Kurdish Year and spring.
