London, 18 March 2025Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa, Head of the International Relations and Diplomacy Department and a distinguished researcher in Middle Eastern politics, recently met with Prof. Charles Tripp, a leading expert in political studies and Middle East affairs, at the Royal Academy of Arts in Piccadilly, London. This meeting marked a significant reunion, as the two scholars reconnected after more than 15 years.

Prof. Tripp served as the course leader and dissertation supervisor for Dr. Mustafa during his MA in Near and Middle Eastern Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, in the 2008-2009 academic year.
