Visit to The Kurdistan Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry
The Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE), and the Vice Dean paid a courtesy visit to the Kurdistan Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry (KFCCI). The Faculty Management met with Dr. Dara Jalil Al-Khayat, the President of the (KFCCI) and at the same time, he is Chairman of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Karwan Surchi, the Spokesman of the (KFCCI), Mr. Askander Mhamad Director of the Media Office of (KFCCI).
The President of (KFCCI) was briefed by the Faculty Management on the initiatives taken by the faculty this year to make the educational system more project, practical, and industry experience focused. The Faculty Management presented their Faculty, departments, and initiatives.
The main aim of the visit was to collaborate and sign an MOU with the Kurdistan Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KFCCI) and introduced the Faculty plan to open a new Department of International Trade and Logistics in the Faculty. Moreover, the Faculty requested to be supported in the process of opening the new department. The President of KFCCI and his team were ready to collaborate and support the idea of opening that department, and they mentioned that in the Kurdistan Region, we need to focus more on the related departments and have such kinds of collaborations.
In addition to giving the FASE Management a warm welcome, President wished the Faculty Management success in carrying out their development plan for the upcoming academic year and made it clear that KFCCI and Erbil Chamber of Commerce would assist the FASE Management in achieving their objectives.
