The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) at Tishk International University (TIU) successfully organized the 6th International Conference in Accounting, Business, Economics, and Politics (ICABEP 2024). Held on October 8th and 9th, 2024, the conference was a major collaboration with Salahaddin University-Erbil, the University of Szczecin, Poland, and Sofia University, St. Kliment Ohridski, Bulgaria. ICABEP 2024 brought together over 200 professionals, academics, and industry leaders from across the globe to explore the intersections of accounting, business, economics, and politics in addressing contemporary global challenges.

Research and Participation

According to Dr. Waqar Ahmad, Scientific Secretary of ICABEP 2024, the conference received 56 full manuscripts and abstracts, with 52 selected for presentation. The event included parallel sessions held at the Culture and Social Center of Salahaddin University and online sessions. The global cooperation was evident in the diverse participation from scholars and students in countries including Canada, Syria, Iran, India, America, the United Kingdom, Greece, Poland, Malaysia, Kurdistan, and Iraq.

Conclusion

ICABEP 2024 provided a dynamic platform for dialogue among scholars and practitioners. The diverse perspectives shared during the conference are expected to contribute significantly to the ongoing discourse in these vital fields, reinforcing the commitment to education, teaching, and higher education as tools for fostering peace and justice.
