New Trends in Bachler’s Thesis Process

The Business and Management Department, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Tishk International University, organized an internal seminar entitled “New Trends in Bachler’s Thesis Process“, presented by Mr Karwan H. Saeed, Acting Dean at FASE.

The seminar intended to shed light on new trends in business research, particularly on the supervision of the 4th-grade student’s thesis. The supervisors acquired new skills and procedures to facilitate the process of supervision and new criteria for best student-supervisor selection and relationship management.

Further, Mr Karwan discussed the possible outcomes of good and weak supervision and how to handle student grievances during the supervision. The audience provided feedback on enhancing the supervision process, setting a plan to revise the student thesis handbook for 2021-2022 and adding trending topics in all the departments under FASE.

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics was initially launched with the Department of Business and Management amid the establishment of Tishk International University in 2008. Three additional departments were formed in 2014-2015: Accounting Department, Banking and Finance Department, and the International Relations and Diplomacy Department.

Currently, our faculty is ranked as the most demanded faculty of the university, comprising the highest number of students. This is highly accredited to how efficiently our students are equipped, with the highest standards of knowledge and soft and hard employability skills required to fill the market gap and prepare the best graduates, an essential element for national development and prosperity.
