On Wednesday 24th May 2023 the Head of Business and Management Department, Mr. Fayeq Ali Ali organized one day training for the 4th grade students. Under the title of Leadership Competencies for Team Building and Leading, students were trained based on games on two rounds, first round within their teams and friends (comfort-zone) and second round implementing the LSQ of the followers to understand that in real life and in true working environment how the teams are formed and can be effective to reach organizational goals.
There were about 80 students, before the training started, they went through pre-test, and they did the post-test on the same day by giving their feedback on the takeaway and the benefit of the training session.
Main Aims of Training were as the following:
- Team Building
- How to think and use the adult ego state from the transactional analysis technique
- Paradigm shift, detail oriented (seeing both sides of discussion)
- Types of communication.
- New teamwork skills among students by using LSQ.
