In the process of promoting applied learning to enhance the practical experience, the Business and Management Department of Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Tishk International University initiated the activity “Academy-Industry Engagement” with the course Marketing Strategies for 4th Year students under the guidance of Dr. Uma Shankar Singh. The main theme behind the project was to get associated with organizations involved in the business field. The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics organized a seminar in cooperation with Re-Coded NGO on the subject of Blockchain Technology on 29-11-2018 in the education building #302. The seminar was conducted by Mr. Ehsan Mamakani who is a Program Assistant and Trainer for blockchain technology and other technological subjects at Re-Coded NGO. The faculty staff and students of the Department of Information Technology also attended the presentation. The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics organized a workshop on “Overview about CAD & TP and the use of the new E-System related to QAAP.” The workshop was conducted by Mr. Aws Yahya, an academician of the faculty of administrative science and economics. The presentation aimed to discuss electronic systems and highlight the benefits and importance associated with the digitization of systems and procedures. The workshop met its goals and the audience showed interest in the new system and also contributed by providing notes and feedback regarding the future improvement of the system.

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics with the cooperation of the Deanery of Students and Ministry of Social Responsibility organized a social activity under the name of 'Charity for Give to Get Happiness - Kurdistan Free from Poverty'. More than 10 Students and three assistants from the Faculty participated in this event.
