The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Business and Management Department organized a workshop on “The Role of EI and Left-Prefrontal Cortex for Enhancing Competencies“. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Roopal Shrivastava, Lecturer at Business and Management Department.

In this presentation, Dr. Roopal Shrivastava presented the importance of knowledge and skills achieved by the employee with a positive attitude.

The presenter explained the role of Emotional Intelligence and Left Pre-frontal Cortex for enhancing competencies, which is work in the program paper to the audience. EI is a set of competencies that enable us to engage in information processing of emotions and relevant stimuli and use it as a guide for thinking and behavior. It assists leaders to enhance their leadership skills.

Competency is not only skill, ability, and knowledge, but also the appropriate attitude to perform certain work effectively and sufficiently.  You are never too old to start to learn. Thus, keep an eye on what you want to achieve and find out the way how to reach them. The more knowledge and skills you gain with a positive attitude, the deeper your competencies will be.
