The Department of Business and Management, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, took part with a dedicated table in the main hall alongside other departments of the university. On September 1st & 2nd 2026, Tishk International University held its TIU Introduction Days 2026 at the Ramada Hotel on Gulan Street, Erbil, to welcome prospective students and their families. The event opened on Tuesday (1st Sep) morning with a ceremony attended by Dr. Ibrahim Rashid, Representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees of Tishk International University, and Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of Tishk International University. TIU Introduction Days 2026 were organised from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on both days.
At our table, faculty members, the department head, and student ambassadors met with twelfth-grade students and their parents throughout the two days. The conversations covered what a business and management degree involves in practice, how the coursework is structured year by year, and what are the career pathways open for graduates. However, many of the questions came from parents as much as from the students themselves, families weighing the decision together. Alongside the academic counseling, visitors received gifts, discount vouchers, and direct admissions support on site.
The Department of Business and Management thanks everyone who visited our table over the two days. We look forward to welcoming our newest students to the TIU campus this academic year 2026-2027.
