On Thursday, September 3, the Department of Business and Management, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics held a thank you ceremony for Mr. Karwan Sherwani, who is departing Tishk International University after 17 years of service to the faculty and to the university as a whole. Mr. Karwan served as Head of the Department of Business and Management, and later as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics. In both roles he was a steady presence shaping the department's academic direction, supporting colleagues through periods of growth and change, and mentoring students who passed through our programs. On September 1st & 2nd 2026, Tishk International University held its TIU Introduction Days 2026 at the Ramada Hotel on Gulan Street, Erbil, to welcome prospective students and their families.
