Visit to FIB to Improve Cooperation

The Management of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) at Tishk International University visited First Iraqi Bank’s (FIB) top management. Mr. Mariwan Ziad, the CEO of FIB and Mr. Idris Saleh, the Commercial Manager of FIB, welcomed the Dean, Vice Dean, and the Head of the Department of the Finance and Banking Department for a meeting to discuss strengthening their relationship and exploring potential collaborations.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Aras, the Dean of FASE expressed gratitude to the CEO for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tishk International University. Additionally, the Dean took the opportunity to introduce the new Head of the Finance and Banking Department, Dr. Abubakar Karaye to the top management of FIB.

Mr. Karwan H. Saeed, the Vice Dean of FASE presented several educational projects that could be developed in collaboration with FIB. Both parties agreed to work together to improve their relationship and collaborate on these specific projects. The meeting was fruitful and productive; both FIB and TIU are excited about the potential opportunities that will arise from this collaboration.
