Resource Verification Visit for International Trade and Logistics Department
A committee from the Ministry of Higher Education visited Tishk International University (TIU) to verify the resources of the International Trade and Logistics Department (ITL). The committee began their visit by meeting with the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, in his office. After a warm welcome, the committee members and related experts started to discuss the purpose of the visit during their meeting.
In attendance at the meeting were the Dean of Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE), the Vice Dean of FASE, and a representative from the Quality Assurance Unit. The Dean of FASE, Prof. Osman Aras presented the proposal to the committee members regarding the establishment of a new program under the name of International Trade and Logistics. The meeting was productive and positive.
The university is now awaiting the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education on whether to approve the proposed program, International Trade and Logistics.
