ICABEP Delegation Visits Catholic University in Erbil to Discuss Collaboration and Extend Conference Invitation

On Tuesday, 17th September, a delegation from the International Conference on Accounting, Business, Economics, and Politics (ICABEP), led by Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa, Co-Chair of the conference, along with Dr. Waqar Ahmad, the Scientific Secretary, and Mr. Kadhim Saeed, a coordinator of the conference, paid a formal visit to Catholic University in Erbil (CUE).
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Nazar Pauls Shabila, President of CUE, Muhammad Sharif Ebrahimi, Head of the International Relations Department, Farhad Al-Kake, Head of the Accounting Department, and Dr. Abdulsatar Sultan, Head of the Business Management Department.

During the meeting, the ICABEP delegation formally invited Catholic University to participate in the upcoming conference. They also discussed potential future collaborations between the corresponding departments of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE).

ICABEP Delegation Visits Bayan University to Strengthen Academic Collaboration and Extend Formal Invitation to Conference

On Tuesday, 17th September, a delegation from the International Conference on Accounting, Business, Economics, and Politics (ICABEP) led by Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa, Co-Chair of the conference, along with Dr. Waqar Ahmad, the Scientific Secretary, and Mr. Kadhim Saeed, a coordinator of the conference, paid a formal visit to Bayan University. They were warmly received by Dr. Mohammad A. Ramadan, Interim President of the University, and Dr. Hanan Ali Ibrahim, Head of the International Relations Department.
During the visit, the delegation formally invited Bayan University to participate in the upcoming ICABEP and engaged in discussions exploring potential future collaboration between the institutions.

FASE and PAO Delegation Discuss Future Collaboration for ICABEP

On 29th August 2024, a delegation from the Public Aid Organization (PAO) visited the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) at Tishk International University (TIU). The delegation, comprised of Dr. Rebaz Ali Smail and Mr. Dilzar Mustafa Sediq, Fundraising Department Manager, was warmly received by Mr. Karwan Sherwani, Vice Dean of FASE, Dr. Mohammad Salih, Co-Chair of the International Conference on Accounting, Business, Economics, and Politics (ICABEP), and Mr. Omar Farouk, ICABEP Organizing Coordinator.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in productive discussions on potential cooperation for the upcoming ICABEP, scheduled for October 2024. They also explored the possibility of drafting a long-term Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between FASE and PAO to formalize their partnership and enhance collaboration in future endeavours.

Faculty Delegation Visits Environmental Protection and Improvement Board to Discuss Upcoming Conference

On Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, a delegation from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics visited the Environmental Protection and Improvement Board to discuss the faculty’s upcoming 6th International Conference on Accounting, Business, Economics, and Politics (ICABEP), scheduled for October 8th and 9th, 2024. The delegation was composed of Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa, Head of the International Relations and Diplomacy Department, and Mr. Kadhim Saeed Awla, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Business and Management.
During the visit, the delegation met with Mr. Abdulrahman Sidiq, head of the board, and Mr. Ahmed Mawlud, his office manager. The discussion centered around the conference, which will focus on the theme of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, exploring the intersections of Accounting, Business, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Politics.
Following the discussion, Mr. Abdulrahman Sidiq expressed his support for the conference and agreed to be one of the keynote speakers.
This collaboration highlights the faculty’s commitment to addressing global challenges through interdisciplinary dialogue and cooperation.

Delegation from Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics Visits UNAMI

Erbil, 2 June 2024 – On Sunday, a delegation from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, including Mr. Karwan Sherwani, the Vice Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Mohammad Salih Mustafa, Head of the International Relations and Diplomacy Department and Co-Chair of ICABEP, visited the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI). They were warmly received by Ms. Carolina Moreno Diaz, Officer-in-Charge of the Human Rights Office at UNAMI Erbil, along with Human Rights Officers Mr. Zito Siany and Mr. Hawzheen Ahmed.

The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss the upcoming International Conference on Accounting, Business, Economics, and Politics (ICABEP), scheduled for October 2024. The conference will focus on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to synergize disciplines such as accounting, business, economics, entrepreneurship, and politics to advance the SDGs.

This meeting marked a significant step towards strengthening the collaboration between Tishk International University and UNAMI, ensuring a well-coordinated effort in organizing a conference that addresses crucial global goals. ‎
