Orphans Dinner

On April 17, 2023, The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE), in collaboration with Dilnewa Organization, organized a heartwarming event during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event aimed to collect funds to invite over 100 orphans and their supervisors to the university and provide them with toys, food, and clothes.

The students of the FASE initiated a donation drive and received overwhelming support from students, staff, and the community. With the funds raised, the orphans were invited to the university, where they were warmly welcomed and treated to a day filled with joy and happiness.

The event commenced with the distribution of a diverse range of foods to the orphans to break their fast, including kebab, pizza, baklava, and even a popcorn machine. There were also several entertainment options for the children, such as playing football, and a clown who sang with them and entertained them. Once the festivities had concluded, the orphans excitedly queued up to receive gifts in the form of toys from the university.

The next day, the students and faculty took the orphans on a shopping trip to buy them new clothes. The orphans were thrilled to choose their clothes and wear them joyfully.

This event was not just an opportunity to provide the orphans with the essentials they needed, but it was also a demonstration of the university’s commitment to social responsibility and compassion towards those who are less fortunate. The collaboration with Dilnewa Organization played a vital role in making the event a success, and the support and expertise provided by the organization were invaluable.
