Russian Foreign Policy Toward Us During Trump Era: Economic Function

This research found out that due to two main reasons the United States could gain success against one of the main powers in the world. The US through the high and large size of its economy and existing adaptable legal authorities could heavily put Russia under the sanction. This research demonstrates the success of the US sanctions related to European cooperation to limit the Russian economy and raise funds. This paper collected data through the secondary methodology. The used research philosophy in this paper is critical realism which is based on interpretivism and positivism components. The result of assessing the Russian economic functionality, the policymaking process of US evaluation, and what is the future of this tension had been done through analyzing and interpreting the previous studies and scholars. The methodology used in this paper is based on a qualitative approach and generalization of the findings based on the research philosophy.
