On February 2nd, 2020, Dr. Hawraman Ali, Lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of TIU, presented a seminar to the members of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economy. The seminar discussed the topic of 'the right of self-determination in international law'. Dr. Ali explained what self-determination implies and what is the latest debate surrounding the subject. IRD Students Presents Ancient and Modern Political Thinkers

On December 24th, IRD students presented their posters about Ancient and Modern Political Thinkers. The posters had a healthy mix of both ancient and modern thinkers. Thirteen female students were encouraged and worked on female political thinkers. Most of them shared that it was a liberating experience for them. Some are motivated to follow in their footsteps. The presentation was presided over by Dr. Fatih Cura, the Dean of FASE. He patiently and with utmost attention visited each poster and interacted with the presenter.
