Successful Completion of Qualitative Research Training Course and Presentation of Certificates The International Relations and Diplomacy Department successfully completed 24 hours of Qualitative Research Training Course, aimed at enabling researchers, especially TIU academic staff to learn the basics of qualitative research and the use of NVIVO software in qualitative data analysis. The training started on 1st September, 2022 spread across 6 weeks, with the last week, held on 3rd November, 2022. The 1st week had Asst. Prof. Dr. Basiru Musa as the trainer who delivered: Research: Meaning & Raison d'être, Research Paradigms: Positivism, Post-Positivism, Social Constructivism, Pragmatism and Critical Theory, and Typology of Research and Differences between Qualitative and Quantitative [...]

The International Relations and Diplomacy Department is honored to host Mr. Armand Mohamad Majed, the President of National Construction and Development Foundation, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. The Foundation's areas of focus and operations are relevant to the Department, and for this, the Department had a fruitful discussion with the President on the areas to collaborate for mutual benefit and development of the Kurdistan Region in particular and Iraq in general. The International Relations and Diplomacy Department congratulates its members of Academic staff on the issuance of appreciation and overall very satisfactory Quality Assurance letters for their excellent performance during the 2021-2022 Academic Year by the University.
