On February 2nd, 2020, Dr. Hawraman Ali, Lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of TIU, presented a seminar to the members of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economy. The seminar discussed the topic of 'the right of self-determination in international law'. Dr. Ali explained what self-determination implies and what is the latest debate surrounding the subject. He examined the UN Charter and other international documents pertaining to the subject, in addition to judicial cases decided upon by the International Court of Justice.
