The International Relations and Diplomacy Department is honored to host Mr. Armand Mohamad Majed, the President of National Construction and Development Foundation, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. The Foundation's areas of focus and operations are relevant to the Department, and for this, the Department had a fruitful discussion with the President on the areas to collaborate for mutual benefit and development of the Kurdistan Region in particular and Iraq in general. Two (2) of our 4th grade students, Firsat Shakur Omer and Hezha Othman Salih were also in attendance. [wds id="2"]

The International Relations and Diplomacy Department congratulates its members of Academic staff on the issuance of appreciation and overall very satisfactory Quality Assurance letters for their excellent performance during the 2021-2022 Academic Year by the University. The Department enjoins them to see this as a good form of motivation to continue to put in their best for the development of the Department, Faculty and University.

The Fourth week’s sessions (1,2,3) of the qualitative research training course, being organized by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Tishk International University, were held and delivered successfully by the course instructor, Dr. Mohammad Salih on 6th October, 2022. The week covered Research Ethics: meaning and importance, Ethical issues in research, Classifications and Library.  

The International Relations and Diplomacy Department is honored to receive a delegation from the STOP Organization on 19th September, 2022, with whom the IRD Department plans to do its community service in October, 2022. Further areas of collaboration, such as joint workshops, conferences and participation in each other's activities were discussed.

The third week's sessions (1,2,3) of the qualitative research training course, being organized by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Tishk International University, were held and delivered successfully by the course instructor, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Arabaci on 15th  September, 2022. The week covered Data Collection Methods for Qualitative Research: Document Analysis, Interview, Observation, Focus Group Discussion, Discourse Analysis, etc., Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA): A case of Thematic Analysis, Validity & Reliability in Qualitative Data

The second week's sessions (1,2,3) of the qualitative research training course, being organized by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Tishk International University, were held and delivered successfully by the course instructor, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Arabaci on 8th  September, 2022. The week covered Research: Research Design: How to Set Research Questions, Objectives, Propositions or Hypotheses; Literature Review: Meaning, Importance, Types & Sources; and How to Organize Literature Review in an Article, Project or Scientific Manuscript.
