Faculty’s Visit to Empire World

To strengthen ties and explore new opportunities for collaboration, the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Tishk International University, Vice-Dean, and Head of Departments paid a visit to Empire World, a leading multinational corporation with interests in various sectors, including hospitality, real estate, and finance.

The visit comes after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the faculty and Empire World, which seeks to promote academic and research cooperation, exchange of faculty and students, and joint initiatives.

During the visit, the faculty delegation led by the Dean had a fruitful meeting with Empire World’s Top Management, the Chairman’s Representative (Mr. Roj P. Agha), the CEO (Mr. Nael Y. Mustafa), and the CFO (Dr. Samer Alssabagh, where they discussed the progress made since the signing of the MoU and explored new areas of collaboration.

In his remarks, the Dean expressed his delight at the warm reception and thanked Empire World for the opportunity to visit their facilities and discuss ways to deepen their partnership.

During the meeting, representatives from both institutions engaged in discussions about the various ways they could work together to provide students with more hands-on experience in the field of Business and Management, Accounting, and Banking and Finance. One of the topics of conversation was internship programs which provide students with the opportunity to learn from practitioners and apply the knowledge in the workplace during the summer break.

In addition to the internship, the group also discussed opportunities for students to gain industrial experience, which would enable students to work in the company for a short period and learn from experienced professionals.

Another important topic of discussion was the establishment of an Industrial Advisory Committee, which would bring together industry professionals, academics, and students to provide guidance and direction for the faculty’s Entrepreneurship programs. This committee would provide valuable insights and recommendations on industry trends and best practices, helping to ensure that the faculty’s programs remain relevant and effective.
