Our Faculty participated Student Deanery project under the title of “Let us make Tishk International green all together” on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 on the campus. The event started by a speech of Dr. Umed Aruzery Vice-President for Administration and Finance in which he addressed to our students and our staff; in his utterances, he emphasized the importance of this project and for the region environment. Midterm Exam – Make UP Schedule First Semester of the Academic Year 2016/2017

On December 3rd 2016 Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics gathered for and invited and welcomed the President of Tishk International University Prof. Dr. Ahmed Oztash and Dr. Mohamed Ozdemir Vice President of Academics. The gathering was followed by a barbecue event which was held in our beautiful university garden. The event was organized by the faculty, the staff were accompanied by their families. The main aim of the event was to create an atmosphere to get know each other personally and closer.

Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics visited (Obida Ihsan), our senior student in Business and Management Department. He is one of our successful student works on behalf of his father in their company called (ICE KING) holds Assistant General Manager position. Our official visit accompanied by Mr. Osman Sahin Head of Social Activity and Dr. Uma Shankar Marketing Lecturer in Business and Management Department appreciated his hard working, and wished him all the best in his career progress and plans.

Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics organized an election for selecting the Faculty and Class representatives for each departments. Faculty has around 400 students, 80 percent of the students voted on the election. There were three competitors for Faculty representative position namely; Hezha Botan from 4th grade, Omer Shoro from 4th grade, Hedi Mustafa from 4th grade. By the end of the election process the Results were as follows:  Hezha Botan: 72 votes, Omer Shoro: 62 votes and Hedi Mustafa: 124 votes. 7 votes were canceled and 4 votes were blank due to improper casting. Tishk International University Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics organized a discussion panel on the name of Global Entrepreneurship Week in corporation with US Consulate-Erbil on November 23, 2016 at the Faculty of Dentistry. The aim of the program was to celebrate the global entrepreneurship week and provided platform for entrepreneurs to debate and exchange ideas. 06.11.2016 Mr. Scott Reese from the US Consulate General in Erbil was the guest speaker of the International Relations and Diplomacy (IRD) Department of Tishk International University. During the lecture, Mr. Reese made a stimulating presentation on the overall presidential election system in the United States and its lexicon including caucuses, primaries, electoral college, swing states, inauguration and the election calendar. In addition to the the IRD program, students from other departments and faculties showed interest in the event. Our Faculty finalized supervisor selection processes for students, department rquest 4th year students to check the list for your reference. The thesis is starting from this week. Students will communicate with their supervisors and create weekly schedules for the thesis work as guided. Important notes; 1- Students have to start following their thesis handbook about the progress and details what to do. 2- Students have to create their own time table for entire thesis process. Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics is proud for the achievement of Mr. Karwan Talaat as the outcome of the nourishment of the university. He attended and orally presented the paper titled “Measuring the Efficiency of Tourism Sector and the Effect of Enablers” in the 27th International Research Conference on Business, Economics and Social Sciences, IRC-2016 held in Istanbul, Turkey on August 01 – 02, 2016. Dean of the faculty Mr. Fatih Cura congratulated him for his dedication in academic learning and development and wished him to achieve many more such success in coming future.
