In a unique collaborative initiative between Tishk International University’s International Relations and Diplomacy (IRD) department and the Barzani Charity Foundation, a joint symposium was organized at Tishk International University to address the timely issue of ‘social cohesion’ in the humanitarian contexts. The symposium which took place on October 7th 2018 came under the title ‘Fostering Social Cohesion: A New Phase of Humanitarian Work in the Kurdistan Region’. Tishk International University's International Relations Department in collaboration with Barzani Charity Foundation organize a symposium under the title 'Fostering Social Cohesion: A New Phase of Humanitarian Work in the Kurdistan Region' the event will take place next Sunday, October 07, 2018, at the Education Building between 9:00 am-1:00 pm.    the symposium addresses issues around social cohesion among the three communities in the Kurdistan Region (the host, the refugees and the internally displaced people [IDP]). Major related-KRG offices, NGOs and civil society will attend the event.   You are all cordially invited to this event.
