Gulshan Salah Tahir HR and Billing Analyst Works at Baker Hughes Company   Business and Management department started its first alumni speech. Our alumni Gulshan Salah presented a speech about “Why You Choose Business and Management Department?” for freshman students. The speech concentrated on advantages of business department and its field of work after graduation. She also talked about skills and essential tips for every business school student. The number of refugees is increasing in Erbil by passing time because of insecure conditions in some parts of Kurdistan. They are waiting for someone to help them and be aware of their circumstances. Tishk International University in cooperation with Dilnawa Organization arranged a charity project for Basrma Camp of west Kurdistan Refugees. They prepared 800 boxes of cleaning material and distributed over 800 refugee families. They bought the cleaning materials from the money that collected from fundraising program (Kermes), which Tishk International University arranged on December 8, 2015. Our Faculty staffs, as usual they are visiting the Faculty students. In this time Mrs. Inji, Mrs. Hatice and Ms. Aryan were invited for a home visit by student Dalia of Accounting department. The staff appreciated the warm welcome provided by Dalia’s family and are thanking her and her family for their wonderful hospitality.

As a form of evaluation for Introduction to law on the chapter of Law and morality, Ms inji organized her class into 6 different groups within these groups one side would argue on the bases of law and the other side on the bases of morality. Ms Inji reported that “Students really enjoy this part of the class, since it demonstrates not only their creativity but also their comprehension of the course” .The debates were held in room 415 with full participation of the second year Business and Management students.

Throughout the month of December Students of our Faculty have been preparing and celebrating the festive occasion of Mewlood in the honor of the birth of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The students decorated the Faculty and handed out sweets and candies.

The start of a university life for first year students is always very difficult, meeting new people, new place, and not to mention the stress of being called a “Qaz”. But thanks to the second, third, and forth year students of  Faculty of Economics and administrative sciences, their first day was a little different than an ordinary freshman’s day when they were welcomed at the university entrance with flowers and sweets.  The warm welcome continued in the faculty with “older” students wearing shirts that displayed “welcome freshman how can I help  you” when asked about the shirts and organization student third year [...]

Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics is exposed to practical learning for the students, who will be the industry representatives in coming future. For the developmental process and the better understanding of the business in Kurdistan, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) organized a seminar on “Iraq Telecom Market by KOREK Telecom” on 2nd December 2015 at Tishk International University Campus.
