Indusial Field Trip to Al-Hayat Company (PEPSI Erbil)
The Accounting Department, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) at Tishk International University (TIU) organized an industrial field trip to Al-Hayat Company (PEPSI Erbil), on Monday 30th October 2023. The participating students include the 3rd and 4th grades respectively.
The trip aimed to provide a platform to students for career exploration, networking, gaining real-world experience, and enhancing employability prospects. The trip also helped students make informed career decisions and become better prepared for the job market.
The students were warmly welcomed by the CFO of PEPSI Company. Students were exposed to the cost accounting sections such as inventory, budgets, components of cost, cost control etc. Many questions were asked by the students and brilliantly answered by the CFO. After the address by the CFO, the students were taken to the production units and finally to the administrative unit.
