Department of Accounting, Finance and Banking, TIU Signs MoU with NassWallet

On 23rd April, 2024, the Department of Finance and Banking, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Tishk International University (TIU) marked a significant milestone in fostering collaboration between academia and the financial sector industry by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between TIU and NassWallet. The primary objectives of this MoU are knowledge exchange, research development, and the promotion of mutual understanding between the two entities.

The meeting was attended by representatives from both Tishk International University and NassWallet. From TIU, notable attendees included the Head of the Board of Trustees Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, the President of the University Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Social Sciences (FASE) Mr. Karwan Sherwani, the Head of the Banking and Finance and Accounting Departments Prof. Dr. Ghousia khatoon. as well as Dr. Abubakar Karaye, a Lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance at TIU who played a crucial role as the initiator and organizer of the MoU signing process. On NassWallet’s side, prominent attendees included the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Waleeed Khalid, the Sales Manager Mr. Karzan Rawf, and the Public Relations and Communication Manager Mr. Kardo Farhad, who was instrumental in initiating and organizing the event on behalf of NassWallet. Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees of Tishk International University and Mr. Waleeed Khalid, the CEO of NassWallet were the key signatories of the MoU.
