Mr. Ayad Mirza - Country Managing Partner of Deloitte & Touche M.E. / Iraq, and Bahaa Arnouk - Senior Manager at Deloitte, visited Tishk International University on December 9th, 2018. The guests were received by Dr. Fatih Cura-Dean of Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Mr. Krishna Navulur- Head of Accounting Department, and Dr. Samer H. Alssabagh- Lecturer at Accounting Deptartment TIU. The visitors conducted a seminar about the Auditing Profession in Kurdistan for senior Accounting and Business Management students. Snapshots of practical lab sessions of computerized accounting courses in which the students learn the techniques of using a set of accounting software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Tally. ERP 9 and QuickBooks) are shown below. Over these courses, the students gain practical experience and necessary skills in accountancy, through working on practical projects and testing real-world examples, which make them ready for labor market needs and prepare them for their professional career. The practical courses are managed by Dr. Samer H. Alssabagh.
