Accounting Department Celebrates International Women’s Day!

International Women’s Day was conducted with great fervor and enthusiasm by the Department. This was an effort to appreciate the women’s contribution towards Society. Dr. Ghousia Khatoon, the Head of the Department addressed the women students and staff and highlighted the importance of higher education for women. Games were conducted and prizes were awarded to the winners on this occasion. Amongst the winners are Ms. Halez, Ms. Ghasbin and Ms. Azheen.

In its July edition 2023, Webometrics ranked Tishk International University (TIU) FIRST among all private universities in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. Moreover, TIU has maintained its SECOND position among all universities in the Kurdistan Region but has moved up to rank 12 among all universities in Iraq.
