Departmental Visit to NassPay On 23rd November 2022, the Department of Accounting, Banking & Finance, represented by its H.O.D, Assistant Professor Dr. Waqar Ahmed, and Professor Osman Aras, visited NassPay, one of the largest financial and payment solutions companies in Kurdistan.  The visit aimed to improve the relations with corporates and increase student collaboration in market activities. Therefore, the department and the firm aim for future collaboration on academic-corporate issues between the two institutions. The meeting was beneficial, and TIU and NassPay agreed on the benefits for students, which will bridge the gap between theory and the market.

Lunch for Accounting, Banking & Finance Department Students Students of the Accounting, Banking & Finance Department, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, organised a lunch with Dr. Waqar Ahmad, Head of the Department, and Dr. Hamdi Serin, Head of Social Activities and lecturers in the garden area next to the main building on November 6th, 2022. Students brought delicious homemade food such as biryani and dolma and shared it with everyone at the gathering. The lunch took place during break time between 12:50 PM and 1:30 PM. List of Supervisor assign to graduation project students The Accounting Department has announced the list of supervisors who will guide the graduation project students in academic year 2022-2023. Therefore, it has been formed to the graduation project students that they are required to visit their respective supervisor and sign the contract and plan weekly schedule of meetings and process of writing the thesis including all other related work of graduation project. Successfully Completion of Orientation Program by Accounting department Staff Tishk International University has organized orientation program for new staff from 7th of October to 23th of October for the new research assistant and for the academic staff from 2nd  October to 12th of October in the university campus. The new staff of Accounting Department Prof. Osman Nuri Aras, Ms. Thikra Mohammed, Mr. Ahmed Ayub have successfully completed orientation program and received completion letter from university on 26th of October 2022.
