TIU and Philomath University Signed MoU With FASE Initiative
Tishk International University (TIU), represented by Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the President of TIU, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Osman Aras, Dean of FASE, Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of the International Relations Office, Mr. Karwan Sherwani, Vice Dean of FASE, Dr. Waqar Ahmad, Head of Banking and Finance Department., Dr. Mohammad Salih, Head of International Relations and Diplomacy Department, Dr. Hamdi Serin, DoS Representative, and Mr. Fayeq Ali, HoD and the organizer of this event met the Philomath University, Nigeria represented by Prof. Gylych Jelilov, Vice Chancellor, Mr. Yasar Aktekin, Registrar, Prof. Seth Akutson, Dean of Social Science and Management Sciences Faculties, Dr. Mary Jolasinmi, Head of Department at Law Faculty and Dr. Mokobia Chigozie Daniel, Public Relation Coordinator virtually on May 23rd 2023, at 13:00 Erbil Time.
Philomath University is driven by a passion for education with excellence and with unbridled zeal to cause scientific, technological, and industrial revolutions uniquely in the world and development in Africa, especially in Nigeria. With the aim of cooperation in education and research areas of mutual interest, and encouraging direct contact and cooperation between faculty members, departments, research institutions, and students, both universities (TIU and Philomath University) signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
In the meeting, the key officials at both universities presented their universities, and shared the institutions’ significant achievements. The mechanism of the MoU implementation and different areas of collaboration were also discussed.
