On June 29, 2025, as part of the ongoing efforts to foster stronger interpersonal relationships and enhance character development, students from the FASE program organized a heartfelt event titled “Dinner with Our University Staff.” This meaningful gathering was designed not just as a social occasion, but as an expression of appreciation and respect toward the academic and administrative staff who continuously support students throughout their educational journey.
Held on campus in a warm and welcoming setting, the event brought together students and staff members in a spirit of mutual appreciation and connection. Rather than being formal guests, the staff were honored as the evening’s special attendees, served personally by the students who had taken the time and effort to prepare the meal themselves. This thoughtful gesture reflected the students’ genuine gratitude and created an atmosphere of equality, humility, and respect.
The initiative served as a reminder that education is not a one-way street—it thrives on collaboration, mutual understanding, and shared effort. By engaging in a non-academic, hospitable setting, students and staff had the opportunity to communicate more freely, exchange personal stories, and build stronger rapport beyond the classroom environment.
More than just a dinner, this event embodied the core values promoted by the Interpersonal Dynamics and Character Building initiative: kindness, service, communication, and appreciation. Students developed skills in organization, hospitality, and teamwork, while simultaneously gaining a deeper awareness of the contributions made by faculty and staff to their academic and personal growth.
“Dinner with Our University Staff” was one of several projects featured in the FASE Poster Presentation, which included a range of community engagement and social awareness activities. Each project aimed to nurture well-rounded individuals who are not only academically competent but also emotionally intelligent and socially responsible.
This special evening proved that even the simplest acts—like serving a meal—can become powerful expressions of unity and thankfulness, leaving lasting impressions on everyone involved.
