FASE Korek Trip
On the 18th of February, 2023, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Tishk International University organized a trip to Korek Mountain and Shinglbana. Over 40 students attended the trip, which was aimed to provide students with an opportunity to explore and enjoy the natural beauty of the Kurdistan region.
The students gathered at the university campus and departed by bus, which the TIU had organized, at 7:30 AM. After a long drive, the bus arrived at Korek Mountain, and the students rode the Teleferik to the tourist area at the top. The view from the top was breathtaking, with snow-covered mountains. The tourist area offered various foods and beverages for sale, which the students enjoyed, while admiring the panoramic view. The students also had a snowball fight, which was a fun and exciting experience for many of them. The snowy landscape provided the perfect backdrop for this activity.
After spending a few hours at Korek Mountain, the group headed to Shinglbana, a resort and amusement park located in the vicinity. Here, the students participated in various sports and rides, including zipline riding and rollercoaster rides. The students enjoyed the adrenaline rush and excitement that these activities provided, and they were grateful for the opportunity to experience them.
After spending a couple of hours at Shinglbana, the bus returned the students to the university campus. The trip was a great success, providing students with an opportunity to explore and enjoy the natural beauty and adventure sports of Kurdistan region. It was also an excellent opportunity for students to bond and form new friendships outside of the classroom. Overall, the trip was fun, educational, and memorable, and the students were grateful for the experience.
