Community Project Service: FASE Students Aid Families in Need
On May 29, 2024, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE), in collaboration with the Dilnewa Organization, organized a Community Project Service aimed at assisting families in need. This initiative was the result of a dedicated Food Fundraising event conducted by FASE students. The funds raised from this event were used to prepare food packages containing essential foodstuffs, ensuring that the basic nutritional needs of the families were met.
The Food Fundraising event, organized by FASE students, was a significant success. The enthusiastic participation of the students and the generous contributions from the community helped to collect sufficient funds. These funds were meticulously allocated towards the preparation of comprehensive food packages, each designed to provide a balanced variety of essential food items.
In executing the project, FASE students volunteered their time and effort, demonstrating a strong commitment to community service. The volunteers were divided into groups and given specific areas and families to cover. This organized approach ensured that the distribution process was efficient and effective. The volunteers delivered the food packages to the families, fostering a direct connection and providing support where it was most needed.
The impact of the Community Project Service was profound. The recipient families expressed their gratitude, as the food packages helped alleviate some of their financial burdens and ensured they had access to essential food supplies. For the student volunteers, the experience was deeply rewarding. It provided them with a better understanding of social issues and the importance of contributing to community welfare.
