Class Representative Duhok Trip
The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Tishk International University organised a trip to Duhok for its class representatives with the help of the Student Affairs Representative, Dr. Hamdi Serin, held on the 29th of October.
The representatives met at TIU early in the morning. Once everyone who wanted to attend the trip was present, they started heading into the bus, driving towards Duhok. The group listened to music and talked about what they had planned for the day. The trip’s main objective was to bring together all the representatives for a fun outing. The representatives also had the opportunity to discuss what was planned for the academic year, and the problems students are facing that the representatives are trying to resolve and what the university could do to make the students’ life more manageable.
Once they arrived in Duhok, the group stopped at the DUHOK sign and took a picture, after which they walked around for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful view the city has to offer, after which the group returned to the bus and then they kept driving. The group stopped after a while, and they went to a bowling alley and played for a few hours. All the representatives had a great time and showed outstanding sportsmanship.
The group then, after playing bowling, went to a restaurant to order drinks and dessert. The representatives exchanged ideas they had for the current academic semester and had an interesting exchange of words with each other. After having their dessert, the students returned to the bus and stopped at an area with a nice view, beautiful trees, and much greenery, where the group then started to take a walk.
In the evening, the group headed back to Tishk International University. The trip was a great success; everyone expressed how much they enjoyed the trip and looked forward to the next meeting planned.
