On February 19, a group of seventeen students from the IR&D Department of Tishk International University visited Kurdistan Regional Parliament.   The visit began with a brief introduction by Senior Advisor and Head of Public Relations Mr. Dilshad Sharif  about the history, composition and key procedures of the Parliament. The group was accepted afterward by the members of the KDP, PUK and Goran parliamentary groups separately. Dean of Students in collaboration with Business and Management Department organized the Bayadi Jaran Program “Home Back” for Business and Management students who graduated in 2015 and 2016. Mr. Fatih Cura Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics was happy to welcome the students to “Bayadi Jaran” Program and encouraged them to participate in all alumni activities as active members to make Tishk International University stronger. More than 50 students attended and made the program successful. Accounting Department under the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics visited Flydubai official office in Erbil, which is managed by Mr. Mohammad Srud Bilal’s family. Our official visit accompanied by: Mr. Osman Sahin, Head of Social Activity Dr. Ahmet Sekreter, Lecturer in Accounting Department Mr. Mustafa Sarbes Turkish Lecturer Mr. Sarhang Osman, Head of Career Center Mr. Fayeq Ali, Research Assistant, Accounting Departments. Officials of the visit appreciated Mr. Mohammad for his hard work with Zozik Company and wished him all the best in his career path.

Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics congratulates Dr. Uma Shankar Singh on being the invited guest and speaker at the International Conference on Business Management and Social Innovation (ICBMSI) held at Rourkela, India on 29th & 30th January 2017. Dr. Uma Shankar Singh attended the conference sponsored by the Tishk International University and presented the paper titled “An Analytical Study of Brand Equity and Brand Experience of Carrefour”, the study of Erbil. The keynote speech of Dr. Uma carried a good reputation of Kurdistan in India.

Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics met some of our graduate alumni students. In this meeting Mr. Osman Sahin Head of Social Activity and Mr. Fayeq Ali Research Assistant contributed, the Dean of Faculty Mr. Fatih Cura advised and encouraged them to sustain their own businesses and implementing theoretical learning in real business. Lastly, the Dean of Faculty was make sure the Faculty and lectures are ready to support them any time if they needed. the alumni students those who graduated last year were so happy that Tishk International University keeping the relations with students.
