The participating students include the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades respectively.

Mr. Resit Kaya, the Accounting Manager of Das Food Industries, greeted the entire team of students and staff upon our arrival at the production plant. The students were provided with an overview of the manufacturing process, including the stages, by-products, main products, product cleaning, and packaging. The industry possesses 20 storage facilities, each of which is capable of accommodating 5000 tonnes.

Following the visit to the production plant, Mr. Resit Kaya, the Accounting Manager, and Sarmad Rashed, the General Manager of the Administration Section, delivered presentations. The presentation addressed overheads, labour costs, and material costs. Additionally, they provided the students with an understanding of the process by which cost accounting records are maintained and the methods by which product prices are established.

Das Food Industry hosted a luncheon for all students and staff following the presentation, and each student was presented with a gift pack. The company’s hospitality and practicalities were thoroughly enjoyed by the students. I had an excellent time visiting Das Food Industries.
