On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, first-grade students from the Accounting Department at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) organized a community outreach activity at the Thalassemia Center as part of the FASE Charity initiative. The visit began at 10:00 AM, driven by a spirit of generosity and social responsibility.
The students, who planned and led the initiative, aimed to support and uplift young patients suffering from thalassemia. They distributed a variety of gifts and brought along snacks, medicine, and an electric wheelchair. The visit created an atmosphere filled with warmth and joy, leaving a lasting positive impression on both the children and the student volunteers.
The primary goal of the event was to bring smiles to the faces of the young patients and to show them that they are not alone in their journey. The initiative showcased the students’ commitment to empathy and community engagement, demonstrating values that extend beyond academic achievement.
The Department of Accounting proudly acknowledged the students’ efforts, viewing their actions as a reflection of the department’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who not only excel academically but also contribute positively to society.
