On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, third-year students from the Accounting Department at Tishk International University (TIU) went on an academic field trip to NassWallet Company. This visit aimed to connect the students’ theoretical knowledge with real-world industry practices.
Upon arrival at 11:00 AM, the students were welcomed by Ms. Renas Adnan, a company representative, who facilitated presentations by two key speakers:
- Mr. Karzan Rawf, the Sales Department Supervisor, explained the practical applications of NassWallet’s products and services, including its digital wallet and mobile payment systems. His session highlighted the sales department’s role in expanding digital financial services.
- Mr. Abdulmomen Muhsin Shakir, the Compliance Manager, gave an in-depth presentation on money laundering detection and prevention. He detailed the company’s internal and external audit processes for ensuring regulatory compliance and financial transparency, emphasizing the importance of risk management and monitoring suspicious transactions.
The trip provided students with a deeper understanding of how fintech companies operate and how different departments collaborate to maintain the integrity of digital financial services. The Accounting Department extended its gratitude to NassWallet for providing such a valuable and enriching experience.
