Wednesday, 4 February — The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Tishk International University held a formal Alumni Gathering, welcoming graduates from recent years representing the departments of Business & Management, Accounting, Banking and Finance, and International Relations and Diplomacy.

The gathering served as a valuable platform to strengthen the connection between alumni and the faculty, as graduates had the opportunity to meet and engage with their lecturers and academic staff from across the faculty. The event officially commenced with an opening address delivered by Dr. Fatih Cura, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics and Vice President of Tishk International University, who emphasized the importance of sustaining long-term relationships with alumni and acknowledged their role as ambassadors of the university in their professional and social communities.

Following the opening remarks, a number of alumni shared meaningful messages and reflections with attendees, highlighting their academic journeys and experiences beyond graduation. This was followed by a video presentation featuring a curated collection of photographs documenting alumni participation in various social, cultural, and extracurricular activities throughout their four years of study, reflecting their active involvement and contributions during their time at the university.

The gathering also provided space for alumni who are currently employed to share their professional experiences and career paths, offering insight and inspiration to fellow graduates. Subsequently, the Heads of Departments addressed the audience, warmly welcoming all alumni, expressing pride in their achievements, and conveying their satisfaction in witnessing the continued success of the university’s graduates in their respective fields.

As part of the program, an interactive Kahoot competition was organized, allowing all participants to engage in a friendly and inclusive activity by answering general knowledge questions and collecting points. The top three scorers were recognized with gifts presented by the university, while all attending alumni were also awarded in appreciation of their participation, commitment, and ongoing connection to the university family.

The event concluded with an informal coffee break, where attendees were invited to enjoy coffee, tea, and snacks, providing an opportunity for further networking and conversation in a welcoming and collegial atmosphere.
